The city of London is gripped with fear as a serial killer – dubbed The Limehouse Golem – is on the loose and leaving cryptic messages written in his victim’s blood. With few leads and increasing public pressure, Scotland Yard assigns the case to Inspector Kildare (Bill Nighy) – a seasoned detective with a troubled past and a sneaking suspicion he’s being set up to fail. Faced with a long list of suspects, including music hall star Dan Leno (Douglas Booth), Kildare must get help from a witness who has legal troubles of her own (Olivia Cooke), so he can stop the murders and bring the killer to justice.

    1. Have to admit I wondered the same thing. This looks _really_ good, and it’s great to see Bill Nighy back in a film I’m very interested in. If there’s a book this was based on, I will absolutely read it and still watch the film. I’m not a film geek but there’s something about the camerawork that I really like too.

    2. it had to be Karl Marx, he was just trying out his new social order, but of coarse it wasn’t true communism…

    3. I did some research and what i found out is that “Golem” was not a person at all. He was a mythical creature just murdering people. So these characters based on real people tried to solve the case of who “Golem” is. and also all the true events in this move occured before “Jack the ripper”. Snoop dog out!

  1. Question…What the F does “golem” have to do with what I just watched?? The title is very misleading
