    1. If you knew anything about the wars you’d actually know their children and women did the fighting for them… with suicde vests.

  1. I hope they’ll make a movie called “Thank you for your patronage” about a guy who bought lots of chocolate bars from a sponge and a starfish

    1. fighters 606 if you don’t like the film don’t watch it then. Every film such as the “Man Down”, “Megan Leavey”, “The Lucky One” and “The Messenger” I can relate those film in real life what thousand of active or veteran who are going through once they got back from deployment to share awareness by chance help many ways to get our service member back on track knowing that they’re not alone.

    2. might be nice to see a story of a kid watching his family being burned alive for the oil in Iraq, maybe it can start off with Bush talking about the WMDs that “exist” there

    1. Hans Bruhn Neergaard as a woman it gets very tiring to see comments about women like this, maybe now you can feel it, after a small example

    2. +Megan Walsh you are missing the point a bit as a person it’s tiring to see people complaining about something and then responding to it with the exact same thing it really just defeats the purpose of complaining about it in the first place (not to say there isn’t anything to complain about just that you are doing it wrong)

    3. Hans Bruhn Neergaard “I’m doing it wrong”? 😂😂😂 I’m glad I have a man here telling me how to do things

    4. Not telling you how to do anything just that you are not doing it right 😉

    5. TheUnP0ssible”whats that have to do with anything lol im talking about nagging wives not whether or not you are married”

“1:27 all I can hear is “WHAT ABOUT ME AND MY NEEDS AND ME AND ME AND ME!?!?!?”

??? im referring to the statement you made above. given the context of a man not being their for his wife because of war, and then coming home while not talking about things with the wife, showed a serious lack of communication. i was pointing out the communication is a key part of marriage and if you dont communicate then say goodbye to wife. making statements like “nagging wives” iin this context showed how little you know about marriage.

  2. I didn’t take Miles Teller seriously when he was in Project X. What a difference 5 years makes!

  3. “I killed so many brown folk while illegally occupying their country I fight with my wife now!” is a subgenre of war movie I’m done with.

    1. Jacq Wasp Yeah, the Iraq war was illegal, by your own standards (UN; the Geneva Convention). Read something.

    2. Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen I don’t go to parties that screen trailers for shitty movies so… I’m good. 😕

    3. Julian Zuniga I’m not blaming the soldier, I’m saying this subgenre of war movie has been made a thousand times and they all suck balls.

    1. Matt Neiman lol I’m from India. We are at peace and we let people live in peace so FO.

    2. Typical short attention span idiot who can only watch superhero action movies and not experience true film

  4. We’ve seen this movie a million times but not with Miles Teller in it. I think he is on his way to becoming one of the greatest actors of the new generation. Also, this looks very well done, I don’t mind seeing this type of movie again and again because this is a real problem that so many struggle with.

    1. Diana Bulnes ikr. Miles Teller is one of the most underrated actors. He is really good, he just can’t find those perfect movies. But I think this one will start showing people how good he is, and maybe he can get an Oscar nomination

  5. Saw a post recently saying ” USA invades countries kills millions and then Americans make movies about how bad their soldiers feel for killing people.”

    1. Really?
America is currently single handedly THE largest source for all kinds of weaponry and resources because of their continuous “Generous” droppings to the Syrian Rebels. Expecting that these rebels will take out the terrorists, and of course a great portion of these resources “somehow” end up in the hands of terrorists. I Don’t know a SINGLE country that would give weapons free to another country. But America does it to syrian rebels.

Turkey and russia are among countries that are also attacking these countries to stop the terrorism. Why is USA constantly warning these countries not to attack them? Why does america wants to do it on his “own”.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to say what you say is wrong, or that I’m right. I’m just saying, that you don’t have to forget that there is always the other side of the window. And I’m pretty sure you also are an islamologist. Who know everything to its core of this religion. And came to your conclusion with a thesis. Look and see how many of your friends has muslim friends.

    2. We ask countries like Russia and Turkey to stop bombing Syria because in Russia’s case they are propping up Assad through a brutal bombing campaign on civilians in order beat the Syrian people into submission and in Turkeys case because they bomb Kurdish (small ethnic minority between Iraq and Turkey) forces instead of ISIS. There are plenty of valid points as to whether America’s bombing campaign in Syria has done more harm then good but arguing that we should let Turkey and Russia commit purposeful atrocities isn’t looking from the other side of the window it’s ignoring the facts and promoting a deadly campaign t target ethic minorities and civilians to further two other countries geopolitical goals.

    1. All heil SWEDEN!
      Sweden national anthem:

      In english

      Thou Ancient, Thou Free

Thou ancient, thou free, thou mountainous North
Thou quiet, thou joyful and fair!
I greet thee, most beautiful land upon earth,
Thy sun, Thy sky, Thy meadows green.

Thou art enthroned upon memories of great olden days,
When honored thy name flew across the earth,
I know that thou art and wilt remain what thou wast,
Yes, I want to live I want to die in the North.

I forever want to serve thee, my beloved country,
Loyalty until death I want to swear thee,
Thy right I will protect with mind and with hand,
thy banner, the heroes carry high.

With God I shall fight for home and for hearth,
for Sweden, the beloved native soil.
I trade thee not, for anything in a world
No, I want to live, I want to die in the North.

    2. Exo St33L give your country a few more years and that anthem will be in arabic along with a call to prayer following it.

  6. Another American hero who helped invade another country! Good job, now let’s glorify him.

    1. From where I’m standing I think this is more about the individual than the war, whereas films like American sniper were just glorifying the invasion of the country this film looks to be focused on the negatives more so
However only the finished product will show the reality

Just to say I do agree with you Din Cosic that invasion of another country should be shown in its true colours as a horrific act

    2. Nah, they were doing that long before we got there. We brought in medicine, education, and rebuilt their infrastructure and on top of that gave them money to rebuild. What did they use it for? They used it to kill each other. They hate each other over Factions, Sects, Sub-Sects, and Tribes.

    1. Dude if you only know him for Fant4stic, you have no idea how good Miles Teller is – watch Whiplash, it’s a drama about an aspiring drummer who’s being verbally abused by his band conductor (Jk Simmons – aka J.J from Raimi’s Spider-man films), and pushes himself to reach perfection at the cost of mental degradation, and physical harm.

  7. the disrespect in these comments let’s see one of you people have to deal with seeing your friend get shot and his blood cover you

    1. +MITE2994 Okay…my point was it doesn’t seem to be glorifying murder. Why are you spouting off random bullshit?

    2. People need to understand that movies are more than just movies. Take the Cars movie for example, you would say it harms no one but its basiclly a 2 hours add for millions of kids to ask their parents to buy clothes, toys, their parties be themed of, games, etc… movies affect the way we think and feel about somehting because they are part of our lives, anyhitng you spend time on has an effect on you. Movies implant ideas and taste on you.
Now we are so close to WW3, racism in every corner , fanatism in religion and here we are with another NorhAmerican movie that keep you at edge of all thats really happening and make you think in the honor of soldiers and their problesms. But hey, keep playing VG, watch sports and movies and make love to your partner, nothing is never really going on, just another movie, its not like millions of brains are going to see it, right?

    1. Not exactly propaganda. Just exploring the very real side effects of war on some of the people who fought it. War isn’t good for anyone except for arms dealers. Just because it is focusing on the American Veterans who come back and not the people on the other side, doesn’t mean it should be taken any less seriously. People who call this propaganda are missing the point.

    2. You’re enlightened, eh? Tell us what country you’re living in that causes you to hate America.

    3. david mattiacci Why is it that every time someone makes a movie about American soldiers with PTSD that it’s automatically “propaganda”. It really offends me sense my older brother is suffering from PTSD. The filmmakers are just trying to show us civilians how these soldiers feel when they come home.

    1. *Mediocre (you haven’t seen the film yet) *PTSD* film.

It looks to be more about the impact of PTSD on soldiers, not exactly Olympus Has Fallen.

  8. Terrible song choice. Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it should be in every advertisement.

  9. Classic Americans thinking they’re all heroic and they think they deserve way more recognition than other countries and they also just reject how bad of a state that the countries that they are infiltrating are left in after them mindlessly murdering civilians

    1. Adam Craig i think you missed the point. It shows that what you see in war will always haunt you doesn’t matter if your American or not
