    1. Agreed, while I’ll be watching mostly since I loved the book, as well as the first film adaption(2003) despite that being a horrible mess of a movie😑it did make me feel better about myself though

    1. I’m actually interested to see Oprah’s acting chops. I know Zach Galifianakis can do dramatic roles well, but man, Oprah? She’s either going to suck or steal the show, and probably nothing in-between.

    2. Her Chops were huge right outta the gate.
      The Color Purple (1985)
Academy Awards Best Actress in a Supporting Role
      Oprah Winfrey

  1. Looks good but maybe a little too over saturated with 3D shots. It gives it the Alice in Wonderland feel. I’m curious how much more of the father the movie is gonna focus on compared to the book since it’s Pine. I hope it doesn’t detract from the story. #HighHopes #FavBook

    1. A Wizard Did It Productions this is 1st trailer. maybe they will render it more in the upcoming movie

    2. A Wizard Did It Productions or Oz the Great and Powerful. Oz and Wonderland were visually stunning but lacked in story. I feel this will be the same.

  2. I don’t really care about this. I want a teaser for Incredibles 2 and plus I’m tired of the special effects orgasms coming from Disney lately like those two awful Alice In Wonderland movies

    1. The irony when you realize Incredibles 2 could happen is solely because of money hungry Disney

    1. I think it looks like other tons of sci-fi movies already launched, mixed with the hero’s journey all over. Looks like they said, “Uhm, how are gonna use the monomyth this time. I know another fake sci-fi movie

    1. they have some elements from the book in here if I remember. I just remember it terrifying me as a kid though so maybe that doesn’t mean much

    1. Being an actress. She is an award winning actress too. Just because you aren’t familiar with her work doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

    1. Tobi Miller Looked it up and apparently it’s one of those TV movies, came out in 2003.

    1. seems extremely experimental… AND I LOVE THAT!!
This may be the Experiemental Blockbuster to inspire film makers to part from clichès and basic plot lines… And I got this from the trailer xD

    2. Movieclips Trailers looks very interesting. Looks like Alice in Wonderland meets Guardians of Galaxy.

    1. *People don’t use your intuition to determine whether this is worth watching, pay the money to see it and then be potentially disappointed.

Thats basically what you said, and its stupid

    2. Lachy Conway Oooor wait till the movie comes out, see more footage, and maybe some reviews before making an opinion. Maybe that’s not wat was said but it’s dumb to be close minded

  3. ” From visionary director Ava DuVernay”
Lmao she’s only made like 1 movie.
Disney is already over selling this movie.

    1. Hasn’t she made Oscar nominated film and documentary? I mean, how many movies one has to make to deserve being called visionary? I was not familiar with that rule.

    2. There’s nothing “visionary” about anything she’s directed. It’s definitely a stretch calling someone visionary when everything they’ve done is grounded and standard fare. This movie looks horrible, so if this is her being visionary it’s a sore sight sight to behold.

  4. Kinda disappointed not more people have read the book. I’m actually looking forward to this, it looks like Ava Duvarney really brought it to life in her own way.

    1. charley15z its my worst childhood book cuz my teacher read this EVERY YEAR in the library and she would fcking say ‘its time for my most and your most fav book kids!!!!

  5. YOU get a darkness, YOU get a darkness, YOU get a darkness, YOU get a darkness, YOU get a darkness EVERYBODY GETS A DARKNESS!!!!

  6. Started off interesting with the warp travel, but then took a sharp turn downhill with the kids.
